A New Residence on East Jefferson

The design of this new 7,500 SF residence is inspired by Neoclassical French châteaux and our Client’s admiration of many grand, late 19th century examples lining Chicago’s Gold Coast. Working on a previously undeveloped site in a designated historic district, our primary goal is to create a home that fits naturally into the surrounding neighborhood with a sense of history and belonging.
To achieve this, only materials of the highest quality are employed: limestone, slate, copper, mahogany. The new residence is accompanied by the usual array of site improvements, formal and informal gardens, and a swimming pool.
